The popularity of Yoga in the community has grown significantly over recent years as a modality of health and well-being. With the growth comes the demand for suitably qualified teachers to guide people safely and effectively. The Diploma of Yoga Teaching will provide you with the practical skills and related scientific and historical knowledge required to become a competent and effective teacher and health care adviser in the field of Yoga. Furthermore, yoga philosophy and ethics are an integral part of our program. The practice of Yoga not only promotes health and well-being, but also offers the opportunity to embrace the heart of Yoga.
About the Yoga Teaching Course
Whilst firmly anchored in the classical heritage of Yoga, the course is based on a synthesis of the major paths and styles of Yoga, holding true the philosophical base for Yoga while encompassing many traditions within Yoga, along with an integration of contemporary well-being practices.
It is our aim to give participants a strong foundation on which to build their understanding, practice and teaching of Yoga. The course provides the graduate with the knowledge and skills required to practice as a teacher of Yoga.

Graduates of this program will be awarded the Diploma of Yoga Teaching
- Due to the involved nature of the course it is compulsory that course participants have had at least one year of regular yoga practice
- Prospective students are required to have an appointment with a Course Advisor prior to enrolling
- The appointment provides for you the opportunity to ask questions about the course and for us to help plan your studies effectively.
- Course Advisor appointments are available in person, over the phone and on College Open Days
Flexible Study Options:
- Fixed Full-time Program: 1 year (2 days per wk Mon & Wed)
- Flexible Part-time Program: 2 years (one weekend per month)

Who Recognises My Qualifications?
The Diploma of Yoga Teaching is recognised by the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia (YTAA). Graduates are eligible to apply for Full Membership to the YTAA after graduation.
Course Duration: Full-time: 1 Year (Mon & Wed) or Part-time: 2 years (one weekend per month)

2010: Course Tuition Fees: $6995 + Enrolment Fee of $95.00
Payment Options:
Option 1: Early Bird Discount $6640: A 5% discount is available for full and part time students if the full amount of course fees & the $95.00 Enrolment Fee are paid one week prior to the start of the course.
Option 2: Pay term by term as you go: An initial deposit of $1000.00 together with the $95 Enrolment Fee is required to secure your spot in the course. The balance of tuition fees are then due on the first day of each term.

Option 3: Payment Plans: An initial deposit of $1000.00 together with the $95.00 Enrolment Fee is required to secure your spot in the course. The balance can be paid by fortnightly or weekly instalments via direct debit with the balance due by the end of term. A 5% surcharge is applied to the outstanding balance as of the first week of term.
