The Intimacy of Dying & Death

This workshop is open for anyone looking to become more knowledgeable and comfortable with end of life.  Participants will explore the physical, mental, energetic, emotional aspects and practical requirements to help themselves, and others, 'become at one' with the one certain fact of life - death.

About the facilitator 'Treypheyna McShane'

Treypheyna McShane is an artist, environmental educator, a mother, grandmother and storyteller who believes 'the Arts' are vital for finding creative solutions to ecological, economic, health and social issues.

After being affected by 12 powerful deaths, in quick succession Trypheyna saw the need for a book of people's stories explaining the surprising benefits when we openly embrace, rather than fear death. Her book, 'The Intimacy of Death & Dying', was published by Allen & Unwin and launched at the Byron Bay Writers Festival in August 2009.

An award winning sculptor and artist, Trypheyna enjoys and values working with people of all backgrounds and walks of life.
