Welcome to the world of Medicinal Mushrooms!

In this fascinating workshop you will be introduced to the therapeutic applications of medicinal mushrooms as a source of food or as a dietary supplement for health maintenance.

You will learn about the structure and cultivation methods, as well as key chemical constituents and their therapeutic activity, especially in the area of increased resistance to disease and enhanced longevity. 

This workshop is extremely beneficial for Natural Health Practitioners and Natural Health Students who are interested in learning about the benefits of medicine mushrooms.

About the Facilitator – Sue Holly

Sue Holly has been a family Naturopathic practitioner and lecturer of herbal medicine for the last 23 years with a great passion for research, and homoeopathy.

Her interest in herbal medicine developed out of wandering the countryside in the UK as a young child where she collected wild plants and kept nature diaries. Sue is also an artist and musician and studied the flute at the Royal College of Music in London. Sue came to Australia where she balanced her career as a buyer and later as a Merchandise Manager, while pursuing study in naturopathy and homoeopathy at Nature Care College.

Sue combines herbal medicine, homoeopathy and nutrition as supportive therapy for medical conditions that range from allergies, prolonged stress, depression, anxiety, heart disease, menopause, prostate enlargement, arthritis, rheumatism and more.

Participants receive a certificate upon completion
